Public Costume Contest
Presented by Costume Specialties
Phase I of judging runs 8pm - 10pm on the stage by Skully's. Show up any time to share your look. Judges select contestants to move on to the Main Stage competition at 11pm. You must pass Phase I to get to Phase 2!
Individuals, duos, and groups are eligible. Competition categories include:
1. Most Radiant : Features
LED, laser, UV reactive or other glow accessories
2. Best Transformation : Costume transforms from one look to another
3. Most Fabulous : Outrageously amazing costume
4. Best Extreme Face Painting : Beyond basic clown makeup!
5. Best B-Movie Ensemble : Groups paying homage to campiest of the campy

Winner of each category receives a Short North prize bag + competes to win Best of Show - top prize of $1,000 from Costume Specialties and The CW Columbus. The fab 5 will also vie for the alive! People’s Choice Award.
